About Us - The Main Report Publishing Group
The first Main Report Letters rolled off the presses in 1972, inaugurating the newsletter era in this country. They have been widely emulated, but remain the standard by which other newsletters must measure themselves.
We offer our clients five Letters. And they have never wavered from our basic principle: to offer our clients practical information which can be acted upon immediately or in the near future. They are all idea sources and calls to action. The Letters are designed to help you power your operation into the future and to call attention to the mistakes and pitfalls that may thwart the realisation of your vision.
The founder and publisher is Max Bowden, a businessman and entrepreneur in several fields. Max started his career in broadcasting and then formed his own marketing and advertising consultancy with clients including Merck, Sharpe & Dohme, Firestone Tire & Rubber Co, International Harvester, Whitcoulls, Shell Oil and House of Travel.
Max's advice and 'personal hands-on' approach has helped many companies grow and prosper. He has also had first-hand experience with the Government sector, appearing before select committees and through his appointments to advisory groups.
